Your Privacy
SNAP is committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect through our software is only used to help schools provide accurate and helpful safe walking and biking routes to parents and students. We've made using the software as simple as possible in an effort to help you improve safety and the number of students walking and biking to your school. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others under any circumstances. Please continue reading for more information about our privacy policy and user agreement.
We Ask For Limited but Necessary Information
In order to create your school's SNAP Map you will be required to create an account for your school. Additionally, state SRTS coordinators and school district safety administrators will also be required to create accounts relative to their position. State and district involvement is critical to effectively manage participating state SRTS programs and the annual creation and distribution of safe route maps to parents and students.
As coordinators and administrators you must provide your name, telephone number, e-mail address and your school's physical address. You will also be asked to create an individualized user name and password as a way of accessing your secure information. This information will only be used to create your school's SNAP Map and to distribute necessary details to all parents and students. Parents and guardians will be encouraged to contact you with any questions they have about your school's SNAP Map. To facilitate correspondence, your telephone number and e-mail address will be included on the safe route map distributed to your student body.
